Meet the Robertsons

Experience Matters

John Preston “Tooter” Robertson, Jr.

John Preston “Tooter” Robertson, Jr. received his BBS in Agriculture Economics from Texas A&M University in 2003 and his Masters of Land Economics and Real Estate in 2004. He immediately began his appraisal career in Georgetown, TX, with Kokel- Oberender-Wood Appraisal and in 2006 moved to San Antonio where he joined Dugger, Canaday, Grafe, Inc., now known as Valbridge Property Advisors. Tooter earned his state certification in 2007 and his ARA designation in 2010.
In 2023, Tooter and Jimma had the vision to establish Las Lomas Land Company.
“Tooter” represents a typical, West Texas cowboy. Having spent a great deal of time “day working,” on large cattle ranches, his interest in land developed early, and he knew, when deciding upon his degree at Texas A&M, that he wanted to work with ranches but not necessarily run one for someone else. By becoming a farm and ranch appraiser, he considers himself to have the best of all worlds.

Jimma (Cone) Robertson

Jimma (Cone) Robertson received her BBS from Texas A&M University in Agriculture Development in 2004. After graduation, she began work in the newsroom at a local NBC television station in Austin and then transferred to their marketing department. Realizing her love for marketing, she spent seven years in corporate marketing for Frost Bank, taking a couple of years away from the workforce to have children. The last six years have been spent working part-time, alongside Tooter, in business development and marketing, in the appraisal industry.
Having grown up on a working cattle ranch in Llano County, she understands the challenges that landowners face, on a very personal level. Her primary role is to support Las Lomas Land, on the marketing and administrative side.
